The Association was formed by Alan Mathieson June/July 2000 with three aims:

  • To re-unite as many ex-HMS St Brides Bay crew members as possible.
  • Hold an Association reunion once feasible, and
  • Keep members informed by newsletter.

Since the launch these aims continue to be met with:

  • Steady and healthy growth in membership;
  • A newsletter regularly mailed to all members; and
  • Reunion 2001 taking place in October 2001.
